UBTECH Education Launches New UKIT Edu App and Revamped Curriculum

Educators and students head back to school equipped with new tools and technologies for supporting STEM learning through robotics and coding

Throughout the United States, children are back in school for a new year of learning, development, and—in many cases—going hands-on with robots to explore STEM concepts that expand their minds and prepare them for bright futures.

This week our school and district partners headed back to school equipped with a new UKIT app, a redesigned UKIT curriculum, and an updated privacy policy and end user licensing agreement. Check out the details below!

UKIT Edu app

The UKIT Edu app serves as the students’ command center for all their robotics creations. The app offers an updated, more polished look and feel while still delivering the same easy-to-follow, step-by-step instructions, as well as 360-degree, 3D modeling tools, so students can quickly get started and immerse themselves in the build. Students will feel immediately at home in the app’s icon-based system, allowing them to dive right into programming motors, sensors, and movements from any Bluetooth-enabled device.

Level-up to the new UKIT app today by downloading it from the App Store or Google Play store.

NOTE: The old UBTECH Edu app is no longer available for use—current customers should be sure to download the new app today!

Updated UKIT curriculum

Students with robot and appThe updated UKIT curriculum offers a fresh, easy-to-use visual approach to the current NGSS-aligned curriculum. The materials are designed to build student and teacher confidence in robotics and STEM, inspire engagement and curiosity, and adapt to the changing needs of all learners. Lessons and activities encourage students to think outside the box, organically developing skills and understanding concepts that prepare them for more rigorous and challenging next steps.

If you’re an educator already using the UKIT curriculum, you’ll feel right at home while appreciating the updated look and feel. If you’re not yet using UKIT’s curriculum in your STEM lesson plans, contact us to learn how we can help.
