Introducing Camp:ASPIRE!

Learn coding & STEM skills with online, virtual instruction that is combined with real robotics kits.

UBTECH Education & the STEM Learning Ecosystems are excited to present an opportunity for kids 8+ this summer with week-long, virtual robotics camp sessions that include REAL robotics kits. In these unprecedented times, and with a lack of options for parents and educators, new solutions are needed.  Camp:ASPIRE goes beyond learning how to code – we also teach kids how to build and program real robotics from leaders in the education field.

We’re also passionate about all kids everywhere being able to participate in our programs.  10% of all registrations are given back in the form of scholarships with our partners, the STEM Ecosystem Initiative.  To learn more or inquire about scholarship opportunities click here.

What are UKITs?

Every course comes with a UKIT Beginner or UKIT Intermediate robotics kit. Each UKIT is a comprehensive building kit with 300+ pieces, servo motors, sensors and more. This kit is all that is needed to support a kid's learning experience during their Camp: ASPIRE virtual class sessions.

Plus, the UKITs are yours to keep after the class is over! With more than 13 pre-designed models in the UKIT EDU app, kids have endless opportunities to keep the fun going for weeks to come

Led by Real Teachers

Feel confident that your students will get the best and safest camp experience possible. We’ve put together an excellent cohort of instructors to lead our sessions.

We’re proud to announce that a minimum of $100,000 in scholarships will be awarded to eligible students for whom a summer program in robotics and engineering would otherwise be out of reach.

Why Camp:ASPIRE?

Beginner Level Courses

Beginner courses are appropriate for students who are brand new to coding and robotics. In these week-long courses, students will be introduced to the mechanics of building simple to more complex robots and will learn how to create basic block-based codes to program servos to take action.

They include:

Beginner UKIT Level Courses

Intermediate Level Courses

Intermediate courses are appropriate for students who are new to, or have foundational knowledge of, coding and robotics. These week-long courses will introduce more complex builds using new sensors. Students will continue building their programming skills using block-based coding with sensor integration.

They include:

Intermediate UKIT for Intermediate Level Courses

Competitive Robotics Courses

Beginner UKIT Level Courses

This introductory course to competitive robotics gives students the tools to build, code, and compete with world class robots. This week-long course will introduce students to the fun, skill-building world of competitive robotics while weaving in STEM concepts that include physics, math, and computational thinking.

This class includes:

Camp:ASPIRE classes run as a five day program with two – four hours of work per day. Each class starts on Monday. We have five different beginner or intermediate level courses to choose from that support multiple levels of learners.

Week long sessions begin on June 15th and run through August 2020.
